Getting Ready for Sacramento

Its been crazy around here since we returned from the Denver show. The kids were here for nine days so not a lot of work got done during that time. I wanted to spend as much time as possible with the two grandsons – they grow up way too fast to give up any time with them. I did manage to get the Celestial Seasons Table Topper completed. It is now on the website and ready to go. I also have fabric kits for this beautiful little seasonal topper.

I've been seeing a lot of posts on other quilting pages that were requesting ideas for baby quilts. I love this little "T-shirt" quilt that is done up in super-soft flannels. You can use worn t-shirts or bibs or buy new ones and then add them to our Fabric kits. They are available in both blues or pinks.

This Jelly Roll Baby Quilt is another baby quilt that I designed using just one jelly roll! Its a log cabin quilt and the blocks finish at 4.5 inches. Jelly Rolls from Moda are in stock!

Geese, Geese, Geese is a quick baby quilt. This one is also done in super-soft flannels. Fabric Kits are also available for this pattern.

This Split Rail Baby Quilt is a super fast, super easy quilt and perfect if you are looking for a "scrap" quilt. Its also great for using charm packs or pieces from the stash. We do have fabric kits available for this quilt as well; both pink and blue.
I hope I've given you a few ideas here; it seems we always know women who are having babies and quilts are such a wonderful way to share the love.
We are finishing up the packing for the Sacramento show that starts next Thursday (August 12-14) at the Roebellen Center in Roseville. I am anxious to see so many friends up there – its been a long time. Kathy will be in the booth all weekend doing demos so be sure to come by if you are in the area or looking for a reason to make a little road trip. Remember to stay safe and stay healthy so you can be HAPPILY QUILTING!
