When I last updated everyone, my Log cabin quilt was just coming together with the first two rows. All the little blocks, with all 13 individual pieces were just made from four packages of EZ Piecing Log Cabin 4 ½" blocks.

Well, now I've managed to string together all ten rows.

1040 little pieces sewn together

The assembly was somewhat tedious. Getting each row to line up perfectly, as well as trying to remember the exact order of each block along a given row took a system of keeping things in perfect order, but it came together fairly well.

That's a lot of seams!

The seams squared together well.

The next step will be to assemble the layers and quilt it. Stay tuned for the next blog entry.
