I wanted to remind everyone that June is "Stars" Month.  Most all of our patterns that have the word "Star" in the title as well as block packages are 10% off this month when you enter "STARBRIGHT10" in the discount code box at check out.

Donald and Laura and our two grandsons have stayed an additional week to help us out.  We got our new satellite link set up so hopefully, we will have better speed and connections from out here in the country.  Laura is cutting fabric kits and sewing up samples and doing "Live" sew-alongs in the mornings (Tik-Tok).  We are gearing up for PIQF next month.  We are hoping to have all new quilts and designs in the booth; we will still have a lot of the older super-popular patterns as well.

The Ruby's Star Block pattern is available as either just the pattern or the fabric kit with pattern.

Benjamin's Star 20" x 20"

Benjamin's Star is just one of twelve Mariner's Compass Blocks in our upcoming SixGen Compass Quilt Pattern.  This will be offered as a complete pattern, a complete fabric kit with pattern or as a Block of the Month program.  Some of the twelve stars are already published and ready as a single block pattern as well as fabric kits with pattern.

Marvin's Star 20" x 20"

Marvin's Star is available as a pattern or fabric kit.

Donald's Star 20" x 20"

Dwen's Star 20" x 20"

And the Dwen's Star is available as just the pattern or the fabric kit.

We will be introducing Julia McLeod's new quilt, "Stars Aligned" at PIQF.  Julia will be in our booth on Friday morning to show her original quilt for this pattern and we will be introducing our version and fabric kit.  I will announce the specific time that she will be in the booth so you can come by and check out her beautiful work and patterns and chat a bit with her.

Stars Aligned

I am getting ready to teach a workshop tomorrow in Los Banos.  We are making the "Geese Around the Crazy Heart" little quilt.  This is such a fun one to make and is perfect for using up fabrics from your stash.  I will post pictures from the class to give you ideas.  I love seeing the variety of fabrics people choose to use.  They are never a disappointment.

Until next time, HAPPY QUILTING!
