I want to thank all you that asked for the foundations for face masks. We have shipped 1250 so far and have a couple hundred left but I have received orders overnight that will just about take care of our supply. Again, thank you!
Now, since we are still being asked to shelter in place, there is a lot of sewing that can be done. Fabric shopping is not deemed a necessary activity (although most quilters don't feel that way!) so this month, we are going to concentrate on making beautiful quilts and various projects using fabric from our stashes. You don't have to have a huge stash to make beautiful quilts, just a little patience for putting the colors together. And, some of our projects, you don't even need to be picky about the colors. Sometimes I just like to wing it and see what I end up with. Crazy quilts are the basis for these projects this month. I kept finding myself saying that life is so crazy lately that I decided this would be the month to show that through all this craziness, a little bit of beauty can be born.
Starting Friday, April 10th, we will be posting short videos of various projects. They will then be posted on the website so you can go back and watch them later. We will be showing a lot of different projects and include tips and tricks to make them easy and fun. So, get started on going through those scraps and the stash and if you don't already have our Crazy Patch quilt pattern or our blocks, we have put them on sale for the month of April at 20% off!
