The fabric kits for the Geese Around the Compass quilt are back in stock!  I love this quilt and I am always surprised at how easy it goes together.  I have probably made close to a dozen different ones and as beautiful as I think each one is, this one always steals the show.  I love these colors so much that I am making the large version with five compasses (its called the Gaggle of Geese) with the same fabrics. I have all five compasses made and am making Flying Geese by the gazilllions, or so it seems!  The Gaggle of Geese measures 104" square.  I purposely left a lot of vacant fabric for some artful quilting; not sure how that will go but I will give it a try.

Gaggle of Geese

The spring weather is finally here!  Now I am in turmoil – finish getting ready for the quilt show or work in the yard?  So far, I have been finding time each day to get a little bit of yard work done and get that important Vitamin D.  We are making progress out there.

Stained Glass Kaleidescope Quilt

I am ready to quilt my Stained Glass Kaleidescope Quilt.  It was a very quick project with only nine 12-inch blocks.  It was a great project for using fabrics in the "under a fat quarter" drawer.  I normally would not put these fabrics together in a quilt but as a "stained glass" project, I think they worked perfect.  The pattern is available and is a great deal at only $12.95.

If you are in the Oklahoma City area or will be traveling that way or want to take a trip, this is where we will be to begin our in-person quilt shows again.  I am getting very anxious to get back to it.  I will be doing live demos in the booth and we will have several videos playing in the booth as well, detailing certain blocks and methods.  Come check us out!

And with that, I think I hear my sewing machine calling my name.  I hope you all have a wonderful week.  Be safe, be healthy and HAPPY QUILTING!
